More Green Wedding Dresses
Not really sure about why so many brides are picking brightly colored wedding dresses, but I wholeheartedly support making more beautiful green dresses. (The ones above are, perhaps, better suited for bridesmaids.)

Green Dress Slideshow
Maybe I'm going overboard today, but it is St. Patrick's Day, and I do love green dresses (and am currently mourning the loss of my favorite one, who's zipper broke last week. But here's a slideshow I made ages ago of the Fall 2010 designer dresses from NYC. I forgot to note who designed these, and some are really quite awful, but, well...here it is:
Anthropologie Day Dresses
I'm not the biggest fan of Anthropologie. If you're clever you can find much better dresses at boutiques and vintage shops. However, they are one of the only nationwide shops that sells a wide range of styles and colors. They always have three or four beautiful green dresses in stock:
Spring Ready, $98 |
Impanema Dress, $328 |
Take Action Dress, $168 |
Gathered Hemlock Dress, $128 |
Vera's Berry Months Dress, $148 |

Two from The Coveteur
The only thing I like more than a gold brocade beateau-neck vintage dress...is a green one. Below: sunshine LA goddess in green. yes please. These are from the profile of WhoWhatWear founder Hillary Kerr's closet on the amazing photo blog THE COVETEUR.

Green Dress by Wes Gordon
I don't typically go for these super pale yellow-green dresses, but this looks so fresh and modern. And it is beautifully cut. Plus, I like the long hem and the subdued blue shoes. By Wes Gordon.
